Potter’s House Community Development, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing representative payee services and financial management assistance to individuals who do not manage their SSA and SSI benefits in the manner for which the funds are designed and allocated.

Potter’s House Community Development, Inc. mission is to assist individuals by giving them the support and oversight needed to utilize their funds appropriately. The organization role is to ensure that these funds are used for the regulatory purpose for which they are designed.

Participants in the program include individuals that may be mentally ill, homeless, former substance abusers, low-income, and the disabled who need assistance in managing their money.

The Potter’s House Community Development, Inc. is dedicated and committed to improving the quality of life for its clients by improving the financial stability of the individuals it serves.

Program Policy

Potter’s House Community Development, Inc. is committed to adhering to and following all regulations under the Organization Representative Payees program as provided by the United States Social Security Administration.


The organization will serve as a source of financial assistance for the clients by maintaining their funds by distributing them only for their basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing. A small monthly fee will be collected from a client as authorized by the Social Security Administration.
